Kilnhurst Primary School is part of Whitewoods Primary Academy Trust.
Here at Kilnhurst we do everything possible to create a welcoming and friendly atmosphere. One in which each child feels safe, secure and valued. As educators and role models, we are very proud of our children’s achievements and would love to share them with you. We have high expectations of everything we do at Kilnhurst Primary School, which is reflected in our school motto: Expect the Best, Give the Best, Be the Best- Mr. Cousins (Headteacher)
Flooding Updates
Kilnhurst Primary was severely damaged on November 7th 2019 following the devastating floods. As a result, the school buildings are closed until work to repair the damage can be completed. Due to the global pandemic, restoration works have taken longer than was initially expected; however, there is light at the end of the tunnel and the whole school cannot wait to return. The children are currently based at Swinton Fitzwilliam Primary School.
